A huge number of entries were recorded from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Odisha and various other states.

Congratulations to Cdt. Devang Lakhani, third year student of Aeronautical Enggineering Department for securing 1st position in Essay Writing Competition jointly organized by Gujarat Directorate and Uttrakhand Directorate under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The competition was held on 9th September at Ahmedabad. Around 400 cadets took part in the competition. The award was felicitated by Major General Arvind Kapoor (ADG OF GUJARAT DIRECTORATE).

It is proud moment for Aeronautical Engineering department, SVIT Vasad that our final year students, Hiral Gohil, Yash Patel, Shivani Suthar and Rucha Shah received grant of Rs. 50,000/- from Student Open Innovation Challenge program 2020 (SOIC 2020) under Student Start-up Innovation Program (SSIP), Gujarat Technological University (GTU) for project "Manufacturing of Flapping Wing Micro Air Vehicle". They are working under the guidance of Mr. Vishal K Nizama, Assistant Professor, Aeronautical Engineering Department. They also received award from SVIT Vasad for that.

Vinay Darji, Student of Third Year Aeronautical Engineering received grant of Rs.65,200/- for his project "Night Security Drone for Girls" from Students Startup and Innovation Cell, SVIT-Vasad. He is working under the guidance of Mr. Dhruvin Shah, Assistant Professor, Aeronautical Engineering Department. He has also received an award from SVIT-VASAD for his achievement. We wish him best luck for final stage of his project.
